Selling homes is always easy in the Diamond Ridge Subdivision. It is one of the truely unique communities in Rio Rancho. What makes Diamond Ridge unique? Well the main thing is the size of the lots. Just about every parcel in Diamond Ridge is .25 of and acre or better. What does this mean for the community? It means more privacy and homes are not right on top of each other like you will see in a lot of other subdivisions where the developer tried to get as many units out of the property as possible. Well it is official this last week it was annouced that a huge solar company Green2V will be setting up shop in Rio Rancho. The Company will be building between the new downtown area and Sue Cleavland High school. The Green2V facility will sit on a 124 acre site and the building is said to be over 1 million square feet. Amazing!!! The job impact is will be great as Green2V intends to bring over 1500 jobs and over time 3000 jobs to the area. In the short term it will be great for the local economy from the sense of contruction jobs and building up the infastructur to accomidate this large operation. This will do wonders for housing in the area.
